JUNE 21st | 9 AM & 11 AM

At this time, reservations are required for all services.

We want you to come together again when you're ready.

As you make decisions on how to worship, here are some ways we're encouraging you to be part of our Riverside Church family.

1.    Stay home and continue to worship online.

We'll continue to stream our service LIVE on Facebook and YouTube each Sunday morning at 11am.

2.   Attend an in-person worship service by saving a seat.

At this time, our in-person worship service requires a reservation so that we can safely accommodate those in

attendance.  If a service is full, that option will not be available.  We ask that you please sign up for one service only.

3.   Continue to participate in our Connect Groups on Zoom.

If you choose to attend an in-person worship service, we want you to know that we are committed to complying with all health and safety guidelines set forth by the Jersey City Department of Health and the CDC to protect our community.  While we cannot guarantee a germ-free environment, we are taking steps to help prevent the transmission of Covid-19.  You can read more about those steps below. If you are sick, have a fever, present any signs of cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, or if you have been in contact with anyone who has had COVID-19 in the past 14 days, we ask that you please stay home and worship with us online.

As we plan to be together again, we want you to know that we are taking precautions to make our in person services as safe as possible.

Here's what we've done to prepare:

  • We've disinfected and thoroughly cleaned our building.

  • Our HVAC system has been professionally cleaned.

  • We've installed Merv-13 (medical grade) air filters into the HVAC system along with a Halo air purifying system.

  • We've purchased and placed new stand alone, automated hand sanitizer stations throughout the building.

  • Medical grade air purification units have been installed in the sanctuary.

During our in-person services we will:

  • Prop open all entrance/exit doors

  • Disinfect high touch surfaces periodically and in-between services.

  • Restrict bathroom use to ensure social distancing is maintained

We respectfully ask that you honor others by following these guidelines:

  • Please register for one of the service times by clicking here.

  • Please wear a mask as you enter and exit the building.  We will have a very limited number of masks available, we ask that you bring your own if you have one.

  • Feel free to use the automatic hand sanitizer stations placed around the building as often as needed.

  • Please do your best to practice social distancing while inside the building and refrain from congregating in the lobby.

  • Please only sit where an usher has seated you.

  • Families will sit together and stay together in the sanctuary. There will be no Nursery, Children's Church, Junior High or Senior High classes on Sunday mornings.

  • We all want to hug, high five and handshake, but we ask that you refrain from doing so for now.

  • As church ends, we will be dismissing in sections.  We ask that you follow all instructions and refrain from lingering.
